In my moments of contemplation, the notion of the "fragrance of light" frequently emerges, prompting me to delve into the profound mystery of our subjective consciousness. How can the purely physical give rise to personal feelings? Do we ever truly cease our thoughts? Silence often seems to hold the answer, juxtaposing the dichotomy of these reflections.
My thoughts often wander back to the timeless Mallik Ghat, renowned as Kolkata's bustling flower market. It is not my first visit, nor my last, tracing back to the day when my journey with images began. Over time, the purpose of my visits has evolved, though clarity remains elusive. One particular morning, as I explored amidst the market's slumbering blooms and the symphony of early bird songs, I contemplated whether morning light too possesses a scent. Why not? In its entirety, everything seems to contribute to a greater whole.
I envisioned a hypothetical sixth sense, pondering what else we might need to fully experience existence. Yet, our imagination often falls short, unable to grasp what lies beyond our current senses. As I close these reflections, I leave you with the same question that still captivates my thoughts: apart from our fundamental five senses, can we conceive of a sixth? If so, I invite you to join me in exploring this intriguing frontier. I sense your presence in this journey of contemplation.
